Henry "Hank" Savini (1926-2019)
Hank Savini is an icon in tattooing. He operated Tattooing by Savini in Coraopolis for well over 70 years. He was a friend to so many in the tattoo community and a frequent guest at the convention, where he would sell his art and acetate stencils to raise money for his other passion - animals and animal charities. Hank was always overwhelmed by the support and interest in his work and career. I think he sorely underestimated his pivotal role in tattooing! With the Savini family's permission, we will have a memorial display of Hank's life and work including art, flash, equipment, acetates and a DVD interview shared with us and compiled by Timmy Adams. All items will be on display (video interview on loop) throughout the convention.
